Q. What is Las Vegas Local Directory.com?
A. Las Vegas Local Directory.com is an online collection of resources for
information of interest to Las Vegas residents and visitors who are interested in Las
Vegas. This collection consists of a database, a search engine and two different
Yahoo style directories;
- A local business directory
- And a visitors guide
Q. Does Las Vegas Local Directory.com contain information on Las Vegas businesses
only?
A. While the primary purpose of Las Vegas Local Directory.com is to provide
information on local Vegas businesses, the local business directory also contains
some non-local, internet based businesses where their addition provides additional
resources of interest to area residents. (They were so good we just couldn't leave
them out!)
Q. My friend has a business in Vegas that should be in this directory. How
can he get his business listed?
A. There are a couple of ways that you can help them to be listed;
- If you have an e-mail address for them, simply go to the right menu
on any directory page and click the "Tell a Business" link. This will
bring up an e-mail window with a message directing them to the
"Free Business Listing"
page. All the directions are there to explain how to add their business.
- Give them a call, tell them about the directory, that they can be
listed for FREE, suggest that they visit lasvegaslocaldirectory.com,
click the
"Free Business Listing"
button in the left menu, or in the box at the top of the right column, and follow the directions.
Q. I know of a business that should be included in your directory, but
they don't have a web site. Can they still get in?
A. Unfortunately we must require that they have a website to be listed
in the directory.
Q. There isn't a category for the information I am looking for. Is it possible
to have a category added so I can use it in the future?
A. Yes. Go to the bottom of any directory page and click the
"Contact Us" link. On the contact page, you will see an e-mail link for
"Management". Click that link, and type in your request.
Q. Why is there sometimes no back button, when I click links in the directory
and search engine?
A. Links to other sites can be unpredictable, and sometimes you get
trapped on a site that won't let you back out of it. (I hate it when that happens,
don't you?) We set the links to open in a new window so you don't have to
completely close the browser, when this happens. You simply close that window and
continue your search from where you left off. Nice, huh?
